This extractor is designed to remove miniature radio valves from their sockets.
The extractor is machined from Aluminium alloy tube. The extractor is dropped over the valve down to the valve base. The two upper handles are squeezed together. This squeezes the two lower segments against the valve, gripping it. The valve is lifted from its socket. The handles are released to allow the valve to be removed from the extractor.
