Child's toy kaleidoscope. cardboard tube with three mirrored glass strips set at 600 to each other. When viewed from the end, multiple reflections produce a multicoloured symmetric pattern.
Three short cylinders are supplied that fit over the end of the tube. They contain a variety of small objects which produce complex patterns that change if the tube is shaken.
