These thyristors are Commercial/ Industrial units whch must be tightly clamped between heatsinks to remove heat generated by the flow of current through the devices. They are used to control the flow of current thru them. They can be turned on by a forward bias current through the trigger electrode, and turned off by the reduction of current flow in the devices to zero or very small current.
