The Calculator is a slide rule with a cylindrical logarithmic scale 500 inches long (48ft 8ins), and an auxiliary drum surrounding it.
The calculator is mounted on a rod which is inserted in a holder on the end of the calculator case. The case sits on a table, the calculator being mounted at an angle for easy viewing by the operator.
