Apparatus to demonstrate and measure the centripetal force required to maintain an object in uniform circular motion. Masses on rotating arms are attached via strings and pulleys to a spring balance to measure the force. In a rotating reference frame this force balances an apparent centrifugal force.

An electrical counter has been added to assist in the measurement of the speed of rotation.
